On May 12, 2018, Upstage will pay an ode to Tagore with “Retrospective: An ode to Tagore” at 7:00 pm. Featuring a show will be opened by Kathak performance by KKIPAA on Tagore’s legendary songs followed by screening of the evergreen honor winning movie Charulata. Written by Tagore and directed by Satyajit Ray, the most acclaimed directors of all time, the story centers around Charu, who is troubled by her lonely marriage.
